List of Falcon 9 launches[edit]

Regarding your deletion of a statement about the SpaceX CRS-4 launch in the List of Falcon 9 launches article, I'm not sure that's quite right. I didn't revert your edit though.

I believe that there were 1) no landing legs on this first stage and 2) no attempt at all made to do a recovery of the stage; i.e., SpaceX acknowledged that the stage would break up/sink rather than float on the ocean for any length of time. That being said, I don't think your statement in the edit comment is correct. You said: "Removed info about CRS-4 landing attempt. Those plans were abandoned at least a week before launch and no controlled descent occurred". I believe they did do the controlled-descent test, and in fact, this time, even did somewhat of a braking burn to alter the course off of the main ballistic reentry trajectory. They just skipped the recovery effort and had no landing legs. N2e (talk) 04:35, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
