Can anyone help explain what I need to do next to get my article "Michael Colina" published in Wikipedia? It's now in sandbox mode; how do I get someone to review or approve it?Pngiles (talk) 14:05, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To get feedback on an article draft, you should go to Wikipedia:Requests for feedback and follow the instructions there. However, before doing that you really must provide reliable sources for the claims in the article. This is especially important as it is a biography of a living person. To see the result of that, please look at user:chzz/demo/simpleref. Edit it, and check the code; perhaps make a test page of your own, such as user:Pngiles/reftest and try it out.

Note that the second usage has a / (and no closing ref tag). This needs a reference section as above; please see user:chzz/demo/namedref to see the result.

Citation templates[edit]

You can put anything you like between <ref> and </ref>, but using citation templates makes for a neat, consistent look;

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Hello, Pngiles. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
