John Walsh (U.S. Politician)[edit]

Simply stating that the New York Times and New York Magazine had articles about Sen. Walsh's academic background, which is what I did before, is fine. The exact sentence that I posted is:

Furman University edits[edit]

I find it interesting that my edit for Furman (that some of its students refer to it as an Ivy notwithstanding its non-inclusion in the association, and providing links to sources of both statements) was deleted by one user--and the user who deleted it attended a university that is described on Wikipedia is a "Public Ivy".

See below:

"In 2010, the Academic Ranking of World Universities gave IU Bloomington a world rank of 90 and a national rank of 50.[29] Time named IU Bloomington its "2001 College of the Year" among major research universities.[39] The University is considered a Public Ivy. Indiana is one of 61 members of the Association of American Universities, the leading American research universities. Additionally, IU has over 110 academic programs ranked in the top twenty nationwide."

I have removed the Ivy reference in the other user's schools' description, as hypocrisy is not acceptable.

Proposed deletion of Bell Tower Mall[edit]

The article Bell Tower Mall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GEOFEAT, which states "commercial developments may be notable as a result of their historic, social, economic, or architectural importance, but they require significant coverage by reliable, third-party sources to establish notability." The single source here merely speculates on possible future use, and does not establish notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
