A tag has been placed on Vaachak requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:54, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cancel that notice. A slip of the mouse. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:56, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Vaachak, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vaachak. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:59, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request declined. For one, the article is now under a formal article for deletion discussion, not speedy deletion. This procedure is not easily stopped once started, and I am not inclined to do so. (You may state your reasons for opposing deletion in the discussion area.) Secondly, it is apparent that this article is written by someone involved with the company and/or the product, which is a conflict of interest and against Wikipedia policy. It looks like you are trying to promote this product, which is prohibited. It also looks like the text of this article was copied and pasted from another source, which may violate copyright laws. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 06:33, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How can I change the title of article ?[edit]

How can I change the title of article Vaachak from "Vaachak" to "Hindi Text-to-speech"? I will also remove any Vaachak word from the article after renaming the article's title.

You can't while it is under the AfD discussion process. Changing the title would disrupt the process. If the article survives the AfD, the title can be changed then. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 16:18, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Completing" AfD[edit]

I'm not sure what you mean by "completing" the AfD. You might want to read this page to see how the process works.

If you meant to say "commenting," you go to the discussion page and add your comment under the others already there, muuch like you edit an article. After five days, an admin will look at the discussion, and will decide to either 1) delete the article, 2) keep it, 3) close the discussion as "no consensus" which defaults to keeping the article, or 4) re-list the article for further discussion, which is done when few comments have been posted. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 06:07, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
