Linking to disambiguation pages[edit]

Please always check where your links are going to. In this edit you linked to two disambiguation pages instead of the pages for the films you intended - RodW has fixed the links just before I got there to do so.

There is an easy way to avoid linking to disambiguation pages: if you go to "Preferences", "Gadgets", and look under "Appearance" you'll see "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange" towards the bottom of the section. Select that tickbox, and whenever you Preview a page you'll be able to see whether you've accidentally linked to a disambiguation page. Thanks, and Happy Editing. April 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Vertigo (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 00:14, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

oh, no problem.
Thanks for letting me know that. I will include a citation next time. Prosperitynationallibreal (talk) 10:54, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Vertigo (film), you may be blocked from editing. You just re-added the info that still isn't sourced anywhere in the article, despite your claim that you wouldn't do so. DonIago (talk) 21:25, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, you dropped a ton of messages here and I can't entirely make out what your concerns are. Three things: 1) Just because other information is unsourced doesn't mean you should add additional unsourced information. 2) Not knowing how to properly source information isn't an excuse to not provide a source at all. 3) Your first source seems alright; the second one isn't loading for me. How to add sources is described at Wikipedia:Inline citation, but I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. DonIago (talk) 15:59, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for answering my concerns I will try to improve my editing and citation skills Prosperitynationallibreal (talk) 17:29, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Phool Aur Patthar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ravi. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
