Hi Juliet, I've checked the reference (in Indonesian) about tempeh. The man said that it was possible that tempeh was a byproduct of Chinese tofu production, but he gave no reliable source or a sufficient argument for that. It was apparently just an opinion. Meanwhile, Serat Centhini was written in 16th setting, so saying tempeh was discovered in 17th century is incorrect. I tried to give the writer this opinion but I'm still new to Wikipedia so I didn't how.

I know that Wikipedia can be written by anyone, but I really hope the editing process would take fact checking seriously. Thanks.

As for the ginger tea article, the part which I edited also didn't have a source but it was posted? Puppypupa (talk) 17:48, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Puppypupa, I see that you copied text from a section in Shrimp paste directly into a new article. Were you intending on splitting the page? I don't think that's necessary, but seeing as the title Trasi (Javanese seafood paste) could help readers find the relevant information, I've just made it a redirect. 4906h (talk) 05:10, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
