Name of Czech top football division without sponsor name?

Hello Quelhar,

how is the correct name of the Czech first division if you leave the name of sponsoring company "Gambrinus" out of it? I ask because league articles in Wikipedia (at least in the English version) are usually named without incorporating their sponsors in the title. The reason behind this is to achieve a consistent naming for the articles since sponsorship tends to change every couple of years.

So, as it is hardly imaginable that the Czech First League has carried the name "Gambrinus liga" since its beginnings in 1993–94, all Czech season articles should be moved to a common name which does not include the sponsoring company. Opinion welcomed

Soccer-holic and I are trying to improve league articles in general, especially when talking about colors used in league standings. We are thinking that codes (colors) should be unified and used in the same way in all articles.
