Notability of Recoallece

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Recoallece) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks for respecting Mr.Z-mans request to delete the page Recoallece! One of the great things about Wikipedia, however, is that a Wikipedia administrator will come and delete the webpage itself, rather than just deleting the content of the page. This leaves the title of the page available for users who many want to create the page for other purposes. So don't worry about it, and thanks for your contributions!Hojimachongtalkcon 23:45, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is Quixotic joe). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.Hojimachongtalkcon 23:45, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page for Dr. Richard Alley[edit]

Apologies if this is not an appropriate means to contact Quixotic joe (no email provided). Just wanted to let you know I've begun working on the Richard Alley page you started. Todd Johnston 00:56, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Unencylopedic" is invalid rationale for content removal[edit]

Quixotic Joe - according to Wiki rules, designating content as "unencyclopedic" is circular reasoning, has no meaning other than the fact that you want it deleted, and is not acceptable as a reason to delete. If you wish to discuss content of the Sullivan Illinois entry on the "Talk" page, I encourage you to do so. If you continue to use this rationale as a reason to delete content, or give no explanation and delete, we will probably be moved to infer vandalism. Thank you for your interest in Wikipedia.
