Arbitration committee elections[edit]

Hi Quod Felix, I hope you are doing well. I noticed that you plan on running for the arbitration committee – however, it seems that there are two potential issues with that. Firstly, there is an error with the way you are trying to file your statement, which is why you have repeatedly been reverted. Secondly, it appears that you don't yet meet the eligibility criteria for candidates, specifically criterium II, which requires editors to have made at least 500 mainspace edits before 1 November (most people who run for the arbitration committee have thousands of edits, and almost all of them are already administrators). Hence, it seems that it's a little too early for you to run for ArbCom. I hope this is not too disappointing and that you continue to help us build an encyclopaedia. Thank you for your contributions and best wishes, Blablubbs (talkcontribs) 22:45, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.[edit]

Thank you for this input. I'm excited about the possibility of playing a larger role, but still clearly learning about the culture and protocols. I was flattered to be nominated, I guess, and so I didn't want to miss an opportunity when it arose. I'll keep working and wait for another round of nominations. Thank you again.
