Please stop removing information from Medicare fraud without discussion or explanation. It will likely be considered vandalism if you do it again without discussion or explanation. Thanks. Jesanj (talk) 12:04, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Singling out durable medical equipment and suggesting that fraud is easy to commit in that sector is incorrect and out of date. Providers of durable medical equipment, starting in October 2009, are required to be accredited by an organization approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and they must post a surety bond. Federal officials have noted that because of the task force actions in places like Miami and that fraud has moved into other sectors. The durable medical equipment sector accounts for about $10 billion out of the $500-plus billion Medicare budget. It's impossible for the DME sector to account for more than a small fraction of total Medicare fraud or abuse. Using a photo of a wheelchair for the story on Medicare fraud is misleading and given today's regulatory environment where it has become hard to quality for a wheelchair, it's insulting as well. Thanks for your explanation! I see what you're saying, although I admit I haven't carefully examined the issue. I'll repost your explanation at Talk:Medicare fraud. That's the place to discuss this. Please make any additional points about the page there. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here. Again, thanks for the explanation. Edit warring at Medicare fraud[edit]

Hello. We have a rule here that you may not have known about. WP:3RR. It looks like you're already in violation of it. If you revert again, (or even if you don't) you may be blocked for 24 hours or so. Please discuss the changes you want to make on the talk page. You keep adding information that I didn't see verified in the source you ended up adding. Thanks. Jesanj (talk) 16:35, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
