Kanwar Mahindar Singh moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Kanwar Mahindar Singh, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Hello, I'm Nagol0929. I noticed that you recently removed content from Amrit Kaur without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:15, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Regarding your assertion of a copyright violation: Are you looking at an online copy of the source, or do you have a paper version of it? —C.Fred (talk) 19:16, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The claim does not check out. I do not see evidence of the material being copied. —C.Fred (talk) 19:23, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have checked the source of the material now removed by me in [1] and found it reasonably describable as "too close to the source". ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:26, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    Dear @Anupam@C.Fred@ToBeFree
    1. I am new to Wikipedia. I did not know that you do not operate within the legal framework.
    2. If that is the rule I Retract My statement. Most of the information on this page has been contributed by me since the past 10 years and it is my duty as legal guardians of a precious legacy to ensure that the correct narrative is brought out with authentic information as so little is available about this great lady in the public domain.
    3. I think if we can discuss with consensus I shall be able to throw some light on the subject to improve this article for the benefit of everyone =. :) Rajkumariamritkaur (talk) 19:33, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Rajkumariamritkaur, there is no rule that prohibits you from taking legal action, just one that prevents you from editing Wikipedia after threatening (on Wikipedia) to take such action, until the matter is resolved. You might succeed in filing an unblock request (see the guide to appealing blocks), but probably only if you agree, as a binding unblock condition, not to edit articles affected by your conflict of interest anymore. You can request changes on the talk page of any article by clicking "Talk" at the top of it, then "New section", and then describing your desired changes there. You can use the code {{edit COI}} in such a new section to attract the attention of volunteer reviewers. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:40, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, This is the Estate of Amrit Kaur. You are requested to kindly unblock me and allow one to present the relevant evidence. Rajkumariamritkaur (talk) 19:19, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • This was a good block User:ToBeFree. In addition to edit warring, the offending editor, User:Rajkumariamritkaur, admitted a conflict of interest and threatened legal action on Wikipedia. User:C.Fred, the deletion of referenced content is a case of WP:IDONTLIKEIT. I hope this helps. With regards, AnupamTalk 19:21, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
haha. You will hear from me soon. Rajkumariamritkaur (talk) 19:22, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    Thank You @C.Fred. @Anupam Kindly reveal your credentials @ToBeFree Rajkumariamritkaur (talk) 19:25, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have no standing to request an editor to "reveal [their] credentials" while you are blocked for legal threats. Other than my specific inquiry about copyvio, your only course of action right now is to retract the legal threats. —C.Fred (talk) 19:26, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I had seen this too late. Part of the block reason was already your legal threat, I just made this explicit now that the edit warring turned out to be perhaps-slightly-justifiable. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:29, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
