Welcome, and some notes[edit]

Hi Rammanohar83, as you indicate you have been following the talkpage of Ezhava, you no doubt know that there is a pretty intense dispute going on there at the moment. I would like to advice you to get some more experience with Wikipedia first before plunging in to something like this, but know you are completely free to ignore that advice (note, it is just advice). I would also like to let you know that there is currently a sockpuppet investigation going on, and - although you may just be here at the wrong place at the wrong time - I have added a request for your account to be checked too. You can find the investigation at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pnranjith. If you have any questions about all this, feel free to ask. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 14:45, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

This political campaigning on Wikipedia has gone on for too long, and blocks are going to start being handed out if it continues much longer. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:34, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
