Hey! Thanks for the headsup! I got a little carried away before getting it on the article. I was working on it in my sandbox (just learned how to do that too!)
Thanks for looking out! Reachforthestarz (talk) 01:38, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Dan arndt I was just working on this article in my sandbox, this wasn't supposed to be published? Im still pretty new to Wiki so I don't fully understand why you did this to my sandbox while im still working on this project... Reachforthestarz (talk) 17:40, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@CNMall41 thank you for the feedback! I will get this re-written soon so it doesn't sound so much like an "advertisement". I just wanted to help this company be more better known since they didn't have a page :) Is there anything major that needed to be fixed? Reachforthestarz (talk) 17:55, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why specifically this company?--CNMall41 (talk) 20:12, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@CNMall41I just love their product. Im new to editing but saw that you can write articles for companies and thought I would give it a try! Thanks for all the feedback too! I'll work on this a little more :) Reachforthestarz (talk) 18:25, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do not remove decline notices from the draft. They need to remain until the draft is either approved or deleted. --CNMall41 (talk) 20:02, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@CNMall41Sorry! I didn't know if it still needed to be there since I re-submitted. Thanks for all the feedback though :) Reachforthestarz (talk) 22:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@BuySomeApplesis it better to write the "history" into a paragraph form? I've seen it both ways on other articles. Any input is greatly appreciated! Reachforthestarz (talk) 18:26, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A paragraph is definitely better than a bullet list! Also, nice job improving the text on the article. Make sure to work on the sourcing too though, since that's very important. BuySomeApples (talk) 06:44, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@BuySomeApplesTHANK YOU! Yea, I've been looking at other company pages to see if I can make this one better. To be honest, I was kinda shocked that they didnt have a page already. Is that pretty common? Also, do you know how many sources it would be good to have? I pulled from two different news websites + Barnes&Noble + grocery stores for more info on the products they have. Reachforthestarz (talk) 22:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Usually all you need is about 3 good sources, which would be stuff like news or magazine articles about the company. WP:GNG has good information about it. BuySomeApples (talk) 09:08, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@BuySomeApples Thanks again! I'll get to adding/referencing! This is my first article so this is great info. Hopefully I can get it published soon :) Reachforthestarz (talk) 00:45, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Newbelgiumbrewingfront.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Newbelgiumbrewingfront.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 03:34, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Minorax oh! weird... I guess I didn't fully understand that. I'll pop over to the Media copyright questions page and check that out. Thanks for the heads up! Reachforthestarz (talk) 21:46, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Field Roast moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Field Roast, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello[edit]

I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles and adding sources. Thanks for that work! I wanted to say that a bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us if that's an area of editing that interests you. It's a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. Feel free to put the group's page on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:05, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@WhatamIdoing oh my gosh! Thank you so much for the invitation. I would love to join. Also I LOVE your username, it's lovely. But yes, I went down a little bit of a rabbit hole and just kept going haha. I'll defiantly put the page on my watch list!!
Again, thank you :) Reachforthestarz (talk) 00:23, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're very welcome! I look forward to seeing you around. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:02, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@WhatamIdoing Are there any pages that you have been working on that you need some help on? I just do this when I have some time before the kiddos come home, but love to write and research things. If there is any articles or pages, just let me know :) Reachforthestarz (talk) 21:47, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What's your main interest area(s)? I cleaned up Baby food a while ago, and it could use some newer sources. I'd like to write an article on Disperse blue dye, because I saw the name at Allergen of the Year, and I'd like to know more about what it is and what it's used for. The next step for that is to find more suitable sources. I've put a couple of sentences in User:WhatamIdoing/Disperse blue dye and you should feel free to edit that page. I've also been trying to add more images to articles. Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine/Popular pages#List has a sortable list of the articles with the highest page views. Popular reading material often correlates with the availability of free images on Wikimedia Commons, so if you see an article with relatively few images, then it's easy to add them in the visual editor: put your cursor where you want the top of the image to be, Insert > Images and Media, and then do keyword searches. (You can add the code filetype:bitmap to your search terms if you're getting too many PDFs showing old book covers.)
If none of that sounds like fun, and you don't mind a possibly tense situation, then Binge eating disorder had a bunch of new content removed, and while some of that is WP:MEDPRI (e.g., original articles about clinical trials rather than a review), I suspect that at least a little of it could be salvaged. Someone else is talking about collecting all the articles related to Complex regional pain syndrome and possibly merging them into a single article. Ambulance is up for Wikipedia:Good article reassessment and primarily wants someone to spam in a bunch of refs. WhatamIdoing (talk) 16:25, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@WhatamIdoing this is perfect. I'll take a peak at a few of these. My main interests though? I don't really have one, its more of "where is todays edits going to take me". Once I find a page that needs help I've been kind of staying on those, then when I need a break going to a new/or past one. A little bit of bouncing around but all in all, just love helping out. It also passes the time + I like to learn about new things/companies. Reachforthestarz (talk) 21:06, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
