NOT ARGUING

Dear @Reading Beans, sorry for the generalization, but one thing, I have tried to reach out to be taught on occasions, before this all went up I did, my tone sounding like an AI, well that I can't help, this tone is simply one of resignation and frustration, I cannot speak for your experience but mine has been met with hostility, I try to be witty and calm and polite I'm met with condescending retort, yet I myself cannot be condescending in response, I try to sound objective and show receipts to my claims - no response. I have tried and tried and tried, you see how it must have somewhat being annoying to be noted as "bias" and how you felt the need to state that this not the case in actuality, I have done that to every single bad trait that has been associated with me, I want to learn, I really do and time and time I have apologised for not doing the proper thing and following up by asking how I may avoid same in future - no response. I am tired. I have noted this problem on other pages, nothing, how is it that even prior to this deletion process, when coming to Wikipedia I brace myself for confrontation, how is it that I have to constantly prove and prove time and time again that what they say I am isn't the case, It is not in my nature to NOT argue when I am accused, I can admit I am wrong and apologise, which I have done, but there is only so much one can take. It is exhausting and I ask myself why now and not then, maybe I am being extra and dramatic but it not unfounded statements directed at me not even related to this Yinka Ash page, just even me merely asking for materials on Bare URLs is met with belittling responses and condescending statements and I can't respond in kind because what follows is threats of me getting blocked. It is a case of when a young man beats an old man no one ask what did the old man do t0 make the young man angry. I'm sorry I want at you, I was projecting, I'm just so tired, this is turning out to be so beyond less what I would expect.

Again I'm sorry, people have told me often times not to wear my lawyer hat when talking in normal conversation, my bad.

I have been threatened here by some user(s) but I'm still here. All we’re saying is, Yinka Ash is not notable. As a new user, you can work on other existing articles before you understand the intricacies of the online encyclopaedia. My advice is, leave the article and move on. @Anoghena Okoyomoh, to add, I probably have !voted more keeps than deletes because I always try to save an article from deletion. I have nominated notable articles for deletion in rare cases and I always withdraw my nomination when the need arise. So, I'm not the bad guy. You can always reach out to me if you need any help. (talk page stalker) @Anoghena Okoyomoh Hi there, trust me, I totally understand your frustration, I was once frustrated here. Please, it is imperative to always reach out whenever you’re in doubt of the notability of any subject you’re going to be writing about.

To be honest, as a new user, writing article on biography of living persons (or more familiar, writing articles about people who are alive) is not advisable. It is not an easy task to bring up an article generally, let alone, a BLP at that.

Forget about the Yinka Ash article as per whatever that happens to it, it is an easy thing to do unless you really have an affiliation, which I don’t think is the case. You attitude towards the article, henceforth, is going to prove that.

There are lots of newcomer tasks on Wikipedia, there are articles that need more sources, rewording from promotional to neutral tone, copy editing, etc. I started with these, not running into creating articles, till now, I have only created less than 20 BLPs, the rest and things, places, BIOs of long dead people, etc. My first article was about a town in Edo state, then I created Banknotes of the Nigerian Naira, etc.

Please take your time and familiarise yourself with the “intricacies of the online encyclopedia” in Reading Beans’ words, with that I mean core content policies, it is imperative. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 09:31, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
