A tag has been placed on Template:Www.artygraphics.co.uk, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 23:22, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Katherine Jenkins do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please note that the website which you link to which is presumably for your illustrations, makes no mention of childline, it merely mentions that you have recently completed a portrait of her and the website seems to be there to sell the illustrations. Adding an edit summary saying it has been added with her full consent is unfortunately not valid proof that you either have her consent or that they are for childline. You at least need to have mentioned childline on your website. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 23:22, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add to the above, I see that you are adding the same link on numerous other articles. Firstly, you are adding them in the wrong format as they need to include the full URL starting with http. Also, you are very likely to see more of your links removed for the same reason. Whilst I am sure you are adding these links out of good faith I would urge you to read the guidelines for external links as well as the article about Wikipedia not being a collection of links and about advertising. There is nothing on your website that I can see any mention of the illustrations being for the benefit of childline or any other specific charity? Certainly not in any of the "Home", "Odering Information" or "Artist Profile" sections. I would urge you to consider adding something ASAP.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 23:28, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
