Re:Acceptable sources[edit]

It would depend on what type of argument you were making, but in many cases, making up your own arguments using other people's sources could be a violation of Wikipedia's original research policy. Basically, we reprint (or should only reprint) arguments advanced by reliable sources without commenting on whether we (as an encyclopedia) believe them to be correct. Make sure you note the section on "Synthesis of published material".
