New Rochelle neighborhoods[edit]
I note you have created articles on several New Rochelle neighborhoods. Can you clarify for me if these are official neighborhoods in some capacity? I wonder if there is, or should be, a List of New Rochelle neighborhoods which could discuss the neighborhoods and show a map of them all, as there is for many other cities. At the Talk page for such an article, the possible partitions and sources could be discussed centrally, so I would think that would be more permanently helpful. As you may or may not know, there have been numerous deletions of New Rochelle area articles by wikipedia editors, so isolated articles may disappear, while a centralized, larger list-article could serve as a forum that would have the effect of protecting valid information about neighborhoods in New Rochelle, undoubtably a valid wikipedia topic. doncram (talk) 20:30, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- I got your reply to my talk page, and i just created List of New Rochelle neighborhoods to try to hold a centralized discussion. It's not absolutely obvious to me that there needs to be a separate article about each neighborhood, by the way. Perhaps one list-article describing them will suffice. - I'd prefer to discuss the New Rochelle neighborhoods at the Talk page of the list article. But if/when you are blocked from editing, you may not be able to edit there. If/when you are blocked, you are still able to post to your own Talk page. - Actually the block log entry just now indicates that SHH2009 cannot edit here, after all. I believe i was told that the user Jvolkblum, who may or may not be the same person, does have editing ability at Talk:Jvolkblum, which i also watch. Technically that is needed so that Jvolkblum would be able to appeal or otherwise discuss the blocking. doncram (talk) 05:54, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
