A tag has been placed on Gary Wehrkamp, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. November 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Gary Wehrkamp has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/gary.wehrkamp (matching the regex rule \bfacebook\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:34, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Gary Wehrkamp, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

According to your edit here it appears that you have a conflict of interest. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 15:50, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is not a conflict of interest. I am not affiliated with the artist. I just have the ability to write ACCURATE content on the artist. It is not biased. It is using appropriate references. Sayitdigital (talk) 16:45, 1 November 2009 (UTC)sayitdigital[reply]

Hello, Sayitdigital. You have new messages at Singularity42's talk page.
Message added Singularity42 (talk) 16:24, 1 November 2009 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.[reply]

Also, please remember to type ~~~~ after your comments on a discussion page - it will automatically sign your name, with the appropriate links. Singularity42 (talk) 16:24, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, as a courtesy, I ask that other editors not remove or refactor their comments on my talk page after I reply to them. Otherwise, it can distort how others read the coversation. If you want to remove something you wrote, you can strike it out by placing <s> before the words you want to strike, and </s> after the words you want to strike. This is how it will look: this is an example of words being struck out. Singularity42 (talk) 16:54, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How do I get the 'conflict of interest' warning off of the page? Sayitdigital (talk) 16:59, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest starting a thread at the conflict of interest noticeboard. By the way, I like to keep conversations in one place, rather than split between two pages. Do you mind if we continue this on my talk page? I'll copy these comments there. Singularity42 (talk) 17:12, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
