You might not see that distintion, but others will. It is in your own best interest to stop calling it a death threat. If you don't, then you change the focus of the discussion from Marine 69-71's conduct, to whether there's a difference between a death wish and death threat, just like Hans changed the focus of the discussion from Marine 69-71's conduct to the Vietnam War. - I understand your point, but where I sit it read like a death threat. A juvenile one, a cowardly one, but a threat nevertheless. - Scotty, I agree with much of your observations on Marine 69-71s conduct. I believe there had been previous complaints of him trying to own articles, but I don't remember where I heard about it. I was disappointed with his attitude at the Irish immgrants to Puerto Rico article. I'm willing to co-certify an RfC with you, but I don't have time to help find diffs. - I think he made a useful suggestion. I see no harm in reposting his message. If reposting his message means that it makes Marine more like to remain administrator if the founder of Wikipedia believes he shouldn't be one, then I'll live with that bizarre consequence.
