Creating a geographical identity

Hi all my name s sharath .I m from a village in palakkad,kerala. My village is famous for a special type of idli .. 'Ramassery idli' .Ramassery s the name of my village . These idlis are made by the 'Muthaliyar family' (caste in hindu religion) in our village .it cant be made any where else in India.it has been more than 50 years .still these idlis are going exactly well .
