Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. In order to make the claim that Sniper were a "glam punk" or "proto punk" band, you need a source that specifically says these things. Right now the only source that describes Sniper's sound or names a particular style for them calls them "glam rock". What you are doing is synthesizing: "Sniper was Stooges inspired, and Joey wrote 'I Don't Care', ergo they were glam punk/protopunk" (A and B, therefore C). This is original research.
