Your concerns about education in WP:PROF[edit]

I didn't answer your comment in the Baldi AfD because the AfD was already closed; probably the best place to take the discussion is Wikipedia talk:Notability (academics). But in short: lots of things that people do that are highly valuable do not count towards making them more notable. Most of the time, teaching ends up being in that category. I've seen articles about academics where the case for notability rested on teaching performance rather than research or textbook writing or whatever, but they're quite rare. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:47, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks.

The article Kanara Welfare Trust has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable organisation

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
