Wirral Infoboxes[edit]

Hi there Snowy,

You adding infoboxes also? :)

A couple of notes:

2001 Census data can be found here... http://neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk/dissemination/

I'm typing in the placename, choosing 'Ward' & using the 2001 Census: Census Area Statistics.

I've been using http://www.multimap.com for the Grid Ref & http://maps.google.co.uk to correct the exact lat/long, if it's any use to you! Good luck.

Birkenhead[edit]

Hi, sorry for not replying earlier. I've had a look at the articles you mentioned, and your edits seem fine to me! The sources you've used certainly seem to be reliable, and you've cited them correctly. Regarding the previous/next station boxes (I presume that's what you're referring to), I'm not fond of using them on disused lines, because over the whole of history, these will have changed several times, and it is not clear which time period is being referred to. Does that help? --RFBailey 20:18, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Burton civil parish in Chester District[edit]

Hello, I noticed you had removed Burton from the template of civil parishes in Chester District (aka: Template:Cheshire, Borough of City of Chester Template:Cheshire, Chester District for now.) I've put it back in, as there is definitely a civil parish with that name in that district quite well away from the boundary between the Chester District and Ellesmere Port and Neston borough. There are quite a few places within Cheshire that have the same name, including civil parihes, and this is one of them. If you don't have an Ordnance Survey 1:25000 scale map available, you can find it on the web in this pdf file here, where the parish in about halfway down, on the west-hand side, next to Clotton and just below Duddon. Its place on the 1:25000 OS map can be seen on sheet 267 (Northwich and Delamere Forest) at Lat 53deg 10' N, Long. 2deg 44' W. We probably need to dismabiguate them by using the districts in which they are located as part of their names.  DDStretch  (talk) 22:23, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merseyside[edit]

Hello, thanks for the support for the Merseyside infobox map rollout. It you spot any errors with it, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to fix it. Jza84 13:49, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wirral Peninsula External Links[edit]

Hi! I noticed you reverted an edit by a new user, User:Paultheone over on the Wirral Peninsula article, here. I'm just inquiring about your reasons, based on the links to be avoided description which includes social networking/forums. I don't mind either way, but want to check since it's a revert without an explanation provided :) ColdmachineTalk 16:23, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply! I just wanted to point it out: glad it was useful. I'll leave the edit to you if you want to make a change based on that :) ColdmachineTalk 20:41, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Leasowe[edit]

Could you check the grid ref and red dot you've put in for Leasowe? It looks to me that it should be placed some way to the north of where you have it. Thanks. Ghmyrtle 13:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, thanks ! Ghmyrtle 14:21, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

More thanks[edit]

Hi, thank you for the excellent job you did on the Lymm article; I've kept going back to it trying to think how to turn that list of trivia into prose for ages: you have achieved a wonderful thing there! (I corrected one typo: cotting → cutting... my ex-mother-in-law lives in one of them.) Geoff Riley 11:34, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
