July 2021[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Princess Sukseon have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 13:11, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Says "The onus to achieve consensus for inclusion is on those seeking to include disputed content.", So you are wrong, Onus is on those wanting to add something, not on those wanting to exclude it.Slatersteven (talk) 14:33, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

that's fair, i take that back, but doesn't negate my point. rewrite don't blank, the contributions are sourced, not vandalism.

Also you need top red wp:npa accussing users of wp:vandalism without good cause breached it.Slatersteven (talk) 14:34, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

i don't get it, you accused users of vandalism too, and I believe, without good cause.
No I did not, some of your reverts were Tagged as possible BLP issues or vandalism, I just pointed that out..Slatersteven (talk) 15:01, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Either you added those tags, or they were added by an automated bot.Slatersteven (talk) 15:02, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions notification[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Managing a conflict of interest on Wikipedia[edit]

This may or may not apply, but the promotional aspect of some edits suggest it may be relevant, so I post the standard COI notice below:

Information icon Hello, SteveCorrigan1970. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —PaleoNeonate – 18:45, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

About Mizanur Rahman[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you have been in conflict with other editors at the above article. Some things you need to understand about Wikipedia. One, disputes are settled by consensus, and right now you do not have consensus to include that material, so for now it should not be in the article. Two, you need to be careful not to Edit war, which is against the rules and can get you blocked from editing. I see that you sought advice at the Teahouse; that was a good thing to do, they are there to help new users. They gave you good advice and I advise you to take it. -- MelanieN (talk) 00:52, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent advice, —PaleoNeonate – 15:18, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
