Ashtead[edit]

The Long Hot Summer article rename[edit]

On 20 December 2006‎, you created the article for the 1965-66 TV series "The Long Hot Summer" and on 25 May 2009 another editor changed the title, adding a comma, to The Long, Hot Summer. The editor gave the explanation in the history log that the TV series title should match the book, with no supporting evidence or discussion on the talk page. On its talk page I present strong evidence to show that you were correct. There is no comma in the TV series version of the title. I am in favor of the article's and talk page's title being restored (by you) to the way you originally worded it, which is supported by the onscreen title card from the episodes, a 1966 TV Guide cover featuring series star Roy Thinnes, and the tvguide.com website, all of which show it as The Long Hot Summer without a comma. I can't find any evidence that proves the title card is wrong. See the evidence links in my post on the article's talk page. Thanks for your consideration.
