It was cleverer vandalism than what is normally seen in Wikipedia. But that simply shows how lonely the vandal actually is, to be researching methods to vandalize Wikipedia...cheers for another indef ban! Aran|heru|nar 15:11, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Index vs. primary case[edit]
"The index case is the patient in whom the disease first indicated the existence of an outbreak. The index patient always remains the same person irrespective of whether earlier cases are discovered later. The very first case is called the primary case, not the index case.
