A tag has been placed on Matthew Ryan Silberhorn requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Travelbird (talk) 02:15, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He has a Facebook. He's my teacher.[edit]

He will be a famous dr.

I'm not sure what was happening there, but it seems the page was moved, then you decided to re-edit the redirect from whence it was moved. Anyway, I've reverted your edits, mainly to preserve the history, but not really sure what was going on. If you think the page should be moved, then would suggest you try a requested move so that the history remains intact. Rob Sinden (talk) 09:34, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Again: Please do not cut/paste the move. Try a requested move. Rob Sinden (talk) 14:04, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from 173.45.72.122. I have performed a search with the contents of Red Hood (Jason Todd), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Jason Todd. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. 173.45.72.122 (talk) 03:57, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No no no[edit]

You don't copy and paste the article to rename it. There is an ability all autoconfirmed users have called moving pages. Mr. Anon515 04:04, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And at this point moving the page is going to be a very contentious proposition since it bucks naming conventions. - J Greb (talk) 04:12, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other issues...[edit]

Aside from the cut-and-paste move, please:

  • Do not put links into infobox titles.
  • Look at the templates to see ehat the infobox titles are supposed to contain.
  • Avoid adding puplicate or secondary infoboxes to articles.
  • Do not create links that are "Easter Eggs".
  • Do not create unlikely redirects.

All of these are disruptive.

Thanks,

- J Greb (talk) 04:21, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Mr. S[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mr. S requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Fallschirmjäger  00:54, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Phillip "Phil" Cobb, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://superherouniverse.com/wiki/Signalman.

Your contributed article, Phillip "Phil" Cobb[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Phillip "Phil" Cobb. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Signalman (comics). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Signalman (comics) - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Swimnteach (talk) 21:19, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Dick Grayson has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. You edited the Robert Kelly (comics) and Characters in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen articles adding a ridiculous theory that somehow Robert Kelly (from X-Men) and Theodore Galloway (from Revenge of the Fallen) are somehow related. You should know that Wikipedia is not a place for fan fiction. uKER (talk) 11:46, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

At this point, since you also created an Easter Egg link to the wrong article in the article on the actor - [1] - and you've den warned before about disruptive editing, I'll go a little further.
If you add more false information, copy-and-paste moves, Easter Eggs, and/or absurd redirects, you will be blocked from editing.
- J Greb (talk) 16:06, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Add to that list of no-nos:
  • Mislabeling infoboxes - Most times the will coincide with the article. For cahracters in cimics that may not reflect the image in the 'box. This is prefered since the image will have a caption identifying the costumed ID shown.
  • Adding deletable images - The Crimson Dynamo image appears to be from the OHOTMU and as such shouldn't be used. Period.
  • Unnecissarily creating sub-sections in an article as you did at Silver Cyclone.
  • Removing valid matinance tags without correcting the issue. This one is actually considered vandalism in most cases.
  • Overlinking - not every word in an article needs to be linked to an article - especially commonly used words like "confiscated".

??????[edit]

How come you did it with Colonel Moss and Petra. Colonel Moss was redirected to Kestrel and Kristy Nord was moved to Petra.

I'm assuming you are trying to use redirects created well over a year ago to justify the mess you are making. To be honest, both the Colonel Moss and Petra Kristensen redirects can be deleted as unlikely to be needed redirects, and in one case unused. That is instead of being joined by a slew of:
  • Unlikely redirects based on adding a character's first, middle, or last name and/or an honorific;
  • Unlikely redirects based on adding a character's nickname;
  • Overly descriptive redirects;
  • And redirects for one off mentions that then point to something that doesn't even pretend to cover the topic of the redirect.
All of which are created without need.
Clear enough?

Warning[edit]

Within hours of being unblocked, you created Sub-Zero Blue, a page in the mainspace that is about yourself and created User:Scorpion Yellow, a userpage for someone else. The purpose of a Wikipedia account is to edit articles productively, not create user pages for your whole family. You haven't shown much indication at this point that you're interested in contributing to this project. If you'd like to help, that's great, but if you're just looking for a place to mess around, this isn't it. Thanks and feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Zachlipton (talk) 03:46, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not trying to start something here. I'm just making user pages for my brothers. I'm just helping them. Those accounts didn't have user pages. I started them for them. I was not trying to make fun of wikipedia.

One of whom has already been blocked for abusing multiple accounts. And given the edit history on that account, it would not be unreasonable to block this account for being a sockpuppet and evading an existing block.
Also: Going right back to creating unneded and/or unlikely redirects - part of what got you blocked for disruptive editing - right after the blocke expired does not help you. - J Greb (talk) 12:12, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
On second look... there is enough similarity between your edits and your "brother"'s to support this:
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for for blocke evasion. See User:Noob saibot red. I was trying to change what my brother was doing on wikipedia. He copies me. I'm just trying to help, he ruins it. He has the same ip address as me. He even sometimes logs in to my account. That is why I made a second account for me. And he has his which is blocked from editing so he won't edit anymore. I was making pages for us, but appearantly it's bad. I didn't know of this so called Sock Puppetry. I was just trying to help I can't keep up with these rules. Can you help me so this can't happen again?

Apology & Resignation[edit]

The following is not a threat. It a resignation and apology.

Look, I just want to know when this block ends, and why you extended it? I want to fix some things on wikipedia and I can't. It was supposed to expire today and it now does tomorrow. Now, the time doesn't appear. I'm sorry for "sock puppetry" and "my brother did it". I just want this to end, so I can get on with my life. So I need to know what I can do to get out of this before it extends again. I'm sorry for what I did, and I don't want to become some criminal on wikipedia. I'm just trying to help. So if you don't like it I'll leave. (Don't be surprised if another edit comes from this same IP address, because it could be someone else.) If you find this in some way offensive, I not trying to insult or offend anyone on wikipedia. I'm just leaving. My brother can't edit wikipedia now because I don't allow him to use my iPod touch anymore. If you still think my brother is just someone I made up to trick you, I didn't make him up. He does try to copy me if I say Mr. Anderson or call someone that, he'll copy me not all the time but sometimes if I say a joke he'll copy me. Anyway, I didn't make up this thing with my brother. And I'm dead serious I have a brother. I don't think your stupid at all you'd be a good police officer but I don't want to be the criminal you've been chasing to catch forever. So I'll leave this account. My brother left his. And I think you should be proud. You don't play around on wikipedia. Accually when I first found out I could edit wikipedia, me and my friends played around writing swear words and stuff, mainly on Transformers pages. But that was more than a year ago we all found better things to do on the Internet and in life. I try to now help wikipedia. But, it appears to be bad or illegal. I'm REALLY SORRY for what I did. And I think that when you grow up, or if you are grown up, you should be a police officer or in the future they might create internet officers if it's even possible you should be one. In a year I'll have a job. I'll not be on wikipedia as much. And I hope you have an easy time finding a job (I hope I will too) such as police. If you find this offensive in any way, I not trying to insult or offend in you in any way I'm just saying that I'm leaving and that you have a good life and be a good policeman (or policewomen).

By the way, I cleared my talk page because it was getting cluttered. If you don't believe me, I'm sure you did it to your talk page as well. If I can't do it, it won't happen again anyway.

My Ip address should be unblock because I was a seperate user. My family shouldn't be included in this. I deserve the "Time Out" not my family. I'm serious about this because I don't want this to ruin my life.

A clean new start[edit]

I will face the punishment. I just want to know how much time I have left of this block. This account is not the sock puppet. Noob saibot red is even though we have the same Ip address we are different individuals me and my brother. I created this account and created the other one for my brother. I'm also REALLY SORRY for "cleaning my page" and I just want this to end. So I will face the punishments but I'm telling you the truth. This is not the puppet.

The Truth[edit]

Here's the truth, my friend had an account that he didn't want anymore. I took it I was blocked from editing then when I could edit with in days I was blocked again. I had a feeling that he could do things under my account. (It was his or he was hacking.) Then I gave it to my brother. He edited pages he got block. Meanwhile, I created this account for myself. This is really my account. I admit I used the other one for a short time. However, I didn't create it, but I created this one. So really this is my account. And Noob saibot red is my friends account which he could be still possibly using. And when I created the pages for my brothers, I didn't know it was bad. So this sock puppetry thing is really two friends/brothers accounts. I used it for a short time. And after I used it I gave it to my brother and created this one for myself. I swear that that's the truth. And that I didn't about sock puppetry, and that's not what I was trying to do. And thank you for the expiration date. This is the truth I swear to death it's the truth.

Unblock request[edit]

Things you should think about before appealing the block or not

  • I'm being honest.
    • I wrote about how this thing began.
  • I helped wikipedia make an article for the list of Rambo characters.
  • I helped the Blue Bowman article.
  • I tried to help the Noob Saibot article.
  • And more.

Request reason:

I didn't mean to vandalise wikipedia at all. I didn't create this article to be a sock of Noob saibot red. Justin Ege created the "original account". I created this account for myself, it wasn't intended to be a sock. I'm sorry and it'll never happen again. For now on I pledge to only help wikipedia.

Decline reason:

I've checked and it's extremely likely the same person is operating both accounts. Yesterday, you edited from this account, logged in as Noobsaibotred, edited, and then logged back into this account and edited again - all within the span of a few minutes. TNXMan 5:36 am, Yesterday (UTC−5)

You said the only way to get an unblock is to put a request on the other users talk page. That's what I did, I just want this block to end, so I now understand and I will never do it again.

Decline reason:

It is clear that you no not understand what we do here on Wikipedia, and I also believe that you lack the maturity and competence to be a responsible editor from within the community. Please find something else constructive to do, and try again in several years, after you have matured more and possess the basic social and interaction skills necessary to be constructive here. –MuZemike 20:21, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Do I have to be a certain age to have an account on wikipedia? Cause that's what is sounds like here. How old are you supposed to be? How old are you Uker?

There probably is a handful of editors your age and perhaps younger. The problem is not that you're underage. It's that it REALLY shows. --uKER (talk) 20:39, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm also curious. How old are you?

How can I get unblocked from editing and how can I prevent this from happening again? How can I also hide my age? Or atleast suggest something, please? I want the block to end.
It's not a matter of hiding your age. As another editor said, you clearly lack the maturity needed to actually contribute to the cause. No offense meant. You're probably a great person and everything you do is probably well meant, but it's still no good. I don't think there is anything to get this block lifted. You already contested far too many blocks before, reinciding immediately after each one of them was lifted. My best advice is the same as MuZemike's. Let time do its thing and give it another go in a couple of years. --uKER (talk) 03:25, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just want to make a deal. If this block atleast ends for my ip address, I'll leave, because I don't want my family to get mad at me. Please just do that and I promise to leave for a few years. I'm serious that I'll leave. If you don't believe me, how many times have you seen a person blocked from editing telling this much info about his/herself. And if they would even say sorry. I just want the block to end and then I'll leave. That's all I ask, and if there is nothing you can do than all I want you and everyone else on wikipedia that'll read this, to know is that I'm sorry, and I'd do anything to take what I did back. I'm gessing that you aleast know I didn't do it intentionally, so now I'll leave.
I just want to know if you can forgive me for what I done? Please?

I'm sorry, and when I come back I promise that nothing like this will happen again. I'm sorry and I hope you forgive me for what I done. I'll leave now.

Decline reason:

As I said before, back away from Wikipedia. Once you have gained sufficient maturity to be able to edit responsibly and socially here, you may come back. Moreover, we cannot "delete" accounts from Wikipedia. The only thing you can do is stop coming here, block the site from your browser, close your browser, whatever it takes. Moreover, your talk page editing privileges have been revoked. –MuZemike 19:41, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You may want to look at that little text above that reads "If you abuse this procedure by making too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page as long as you are blocked." You're only making it worse for yourself. You're QUICKLY becoming a pain. --uKER (talk) 19:44, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I had written that BEFORE his unblock request was rejected. --uKER (talk) 19:46, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Michelle McGahey has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
