April 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm FenixFeather. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Gabriel García Márquez, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. – FenixFeather (talk)(Contribs) 16:52, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be doing nothing other than adding external links to HNKC News such as at Rubik's cube. I do not think that news stories are a particularly appropriate use of the external links section and is in contravention of WP:EL#EL4 of our external links guideline and WP:LINKSPAM of our spam guidleline. Given your username and activity, I am inclined to believe that you have a conflict of interest. We have a guideline on this too at WP:COI which says you should make suggestions on talk pages rather than edit articles directly yourself. SpinningSpark 15:44, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Marshall Islands. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
