Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:36, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

September 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page International recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bexample\.com' .

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Edit summaries[edit]

Howdy, regarding your recent edits to International recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, I'd like to ask you to use edit summaries. Your edits here and here are lacking such summaries. You can read WP:EDITSUMMARY for a guide as to why it is considered good practice to use them. —— nixeagle 12:23, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

make a note.[edit]

I appreciate your attempt to use edit summaries, but if you are going to remove a section of the text as you did here, you best explain why you are removing that section. Your edit summary does not appear to be enough to give an uninvolved editor an idea of why that bit of text is bad for the article. I strongly suggest that when making major changes like this, that you explain in detail why you are making such a change on the talk page of the article. It will most likely increase the chance that edits you make will "stick" to the current version of the page. Thanks for understanding. —— nixeagle 02:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also please do not call things "stupid" without explaining why you feel so. Edit summaries have one purpose only, that is to inform others what the edit contained and why it was done. If you can't fit the why in the summary, put the why on the talk page. —— nixeagle 02:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. please do not place your signature in the article proper. (Ie don't do four ~'s in the article. —— nixeagle 02:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
