Lousia May Alcott[edit]

Thanks for your edit to the Louisa May Alcott article to correct the date the Alcott family moved to Boston. You mentioned in your edit summary that this was based on information from the NY Times/Census. It would really be good if you could provide the exact source for this in the article, as the article is currently sorely under-referenced generally. Best wishes. No problem, I've added in the reference and so now you can see how I've done it. A full guide to citing sources is available at WP:CITE. And remember to sign your entries on talk pages (user and article) with four tildes (~~~~). :) Madmedea 15:27, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revert[edit]

Did you get the revert on JF's page? I went to edit it, but I think you got to it first so mine didn't register. --Wasted Sapience 21:32, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Census[edit]

All census images are the work of the US Gov and are public domain, as are all derivative works. I have added the images to about 20 articles. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 04:36, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

enchanted revert[edit]

If you had read the opening sentences to the section, you will see that the section refers to a specific list provided by the filmmakers to film reviewers. The lead-in says: Items on the official list include.... The item that was reverted was not on that list. The revert does not mean that the editor's observation was correct or incorrect, or that the edit passes or fails WP:OR. Just that, as stated in the rv comment, the item added to the list does not exist in the original document. That section is not intended to be a complete list of items that viewers feel could be tributes, as many of those could be mere coincidence (as the filmmakers themselves stated about various things they had read others write about the film). By keeping the content restricted to the original list, it should help avoid that section turning into a battleground of WP:OR and verification of tribute-status. Hope this answers your question.
