I created that article but didn't see what you two did, actually. :) My bad. Nice work with a South Dakota NRHP article in your recent contributions, by the way. South Dakota seems really hard, there are few online resources about its historic sites. wp:NRHPhelp covers NRHP sources, and use of an infobox generator, by the way. --do ncr am 21:37, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Thank you! It is very hard to find online sources about South Dakota. Some Americans don't even know it's a state... true story. Thankfully, I live in South Dakota, so I'm able to obtain several physical references (local history books, which are usually not widely published; and museums, which are either willing to contribute pictures or can help me find the best printed sources for research). I would like to give a big thank you to the three people who reverted the vandalism on my userpage today: Clarkcj12, Dwpaul, and J.delanoy. I had no idea it had happened until the first one had been reverted, and then I couldn't keep up with all of the edits. It caught me off guard because it has never happened to me before, but it does not affect my willingness to keep contributing and fighting vandalism on Wikipedia. Again, thank you all very much. Hey, no problem! It's not a mistake on your part, it's always an option. Where someone tries to create an article about themselves, it's often difficult to tell what they think they are doing. If the page isn't blatantly promotional, I tend to assume it's just that they don't know how to create a user page, but it can be difficult to tell - if I decide to move it, I take the speedy notice off so as not to confuse them. I can provide evidence as well. I think it's very rich for the author not to have included the truth - seemed like a web ad, which is not what Wikipedia is about.

I did not revert all of your additions, only your comment about Wikipedia itself. Thank you for recognizing that the article badly needs to be improved. However, the addition of at least one reliable source to your edits would be very much appreciated. It is policy that the reliability of information is based off these sources, not just the word of the editor. If you need help with citations, there are several guides available; try WP:CITE or, more specifically, H:FOOT. Your edits here are greatly appreciated! TCMemoire (talk) 08:49, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
