A tag has been placed on The Woman University, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion of "Information Technology University"[edit]

A page you created, Information Technology University, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is obvious advertising or promotional material.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari Karachi, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University (Karachi). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 10:53, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

'Cut-and-paste' page move[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University (Karachi) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen.
exclamation mark  I have re-directed your 'new' page (Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari Karachi) back to the original pagename (Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University (Karachi)). It has been at that name for several years, so if you think it needs to be moved, please start a discussion and get a consensus on that articles talkpage. I can't see any reason why it should be moved. See Wikipedia:Article titles for policy on page naming. 220 of Borg 17:14, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Hi there.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.220 of Borg 17:23, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on University of Management Sciences and Information Technology Kotli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.umsit.edu.pk/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Removing maintenance templates[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari,Karachi. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. 220 of Borg 07:47, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I note that you have also removed valid templates from Government College Women University Sialkot (which you started) and Mirpur University of Science and Technology (where I have reverted your edit) I strongly advise you to stop doing this. 'Mirpurs' only 'sources' are two links to the institutions website, which is why it was tagged as {{refimprove}}. When you start a new page you are supposed to provide references immediately, and more than a link to the institutions website is expected. Removing these notices is disruptive. I strongly advise you ta take a look at wp:My first article.--220 of Borg 08:32, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on The Woman University, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Same page also exists at Woman University Multan, which is the second page created (by the same editor!), but seems to be the correct title

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

Unreferenced page creation etc[edit]

Taimurijaz97, you have already been warned not to create any more "inappropriate pages". This includes un-referenced pages (see wp:Verifiability). I have just gone through the 32 un-deleted pages remaining of those you created, and I have tagged 18 as un-sourced.This is not acceptable. References are not optional.

I am also concerned that you seem to be copying pages you have already created, and only making minor changes to create a 'new' page. For example Ali Institute of Education, Nazeer Hussain University and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto City University are practically identical, except for the names of the universities. There are other pages that are similarly near identical. You also re-created The Woman University as the identical Woman University Multan.

I strongly suggest that you cease creating any new pages, gain more experience as an editor before starting new pages again, and then use the wp:Articles for creation process, and create any new pages as a wp:draft, not in the main article space.

If you continue as you have been, you may be wp:blocked from editing. --220 of Borg 16:17, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop your mass move![edit]

Stop mass moving University articles indiscriminately to include city titles in their names. See WP:PRIMARYTOPIC (infact its the only topic in many cases where you've moved),,, see also Harvard University. I've reverted some of your obvious ones. You should first look and not move if no other name exists or no other significant name exists. --lTopGunl (talk) 21:09, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

November 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Altaf Hussain University, Karachi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Proposed deletion of Altaf Hussain University, Hyderabad[edit]

The article Altaf Hussain University, Hyderabad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject does not exist, per rule what Wikipedia is not, even there are not sources to support and verify the claim.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
