Your signature[edit]

Have you considered using paler colours for the background of your signature and/or darker ones for the foreground? As it is now, it's way too hard to read. A. di M. (talk) 09:17, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip, I will fix it...--Novus Orator 09:18, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Heim theory[edit]

Hey sorry about that, I reverted it as vandalism by mistake and have undone my reversion. My apologies. WikiTome Talk 06:13, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns about the Race (classification of humans) article[edit]

Hi, Terra Novus,

I see you are tagging the Race (classification of humans) article, and are involved in a Wikiproject related to that article. Do you have sources that you would like to recommend for my source list related to that subject? My main areas of research are psychology (especially IQ testing and gifted education) and mathematics pedagogy, so I need a lot of help in filling out that source list. I've been surprised by how many good sources are missing from articles all over Wikipedia, and I think some of the legitimate concerns about point of view that could be raised about many of those articles are best addressed by digging into more and better sources and editing the articles accordingly. I look forward to collaborating with you on improving that article. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 21:41, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

--Novus Orator 05:39, 26 September 2010 (UTC)== Re: FellGleaming ==[reply]

Fell Gleaming is only one amongst many great contributors who have been shoved out of Wikipedia for not going along with the elitist majority POV that pervade Wikipedia's articles.

Could you explain? Considering that you just created your account on 18 September 2010, how would you know that? Your edit summary for 05:30, 18 September 2010 says "This user was formerly on wikipedia under a different name" but the rest was truncated. Can you complete the sentence? Viriditas (talk) 05:04, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I found it.[1] Per WP:CLEANSTART. Have you and I run into each other before? Viriditas (talk) 05:05, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing out my need to put my old user account link in...I don't remember if you and I have contributed together before, but I will keep in contact.--Novus Orator 05:23, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are not required to put your user account name in or tell anyone. But, you should notify arbcom if you are able, and you should avoid editing the same topics if that caused you to leave. Viriditas (talk) 05:34, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip!--Novus Orator 05:40, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I don't object to the assertions, but this source does not appear to meet Wikipdia standards: The Hazards of Mount Rainier by Cory Zellers It appears from the URL that Zellers was a student at the time of writing. Do you know anything else about it? Would it be possible to find a better source? Also, attributing the quotation to Zellers without identifying him isn't helpful to the readers. If it is a reliable source, then we should say who he is or why he's an expert.   Will Beback  talk  04:18, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is fine, please remove that quote....--Novus Orator 04:22, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

John Birch Society[edit]

On Wikipedia, we summarize what sources say. To change sourced material while leaving the old citations is misleading and contrary to best practices. If you have a question about material I suggest using the article talk page. However I should mention that the lead has been discussed extensively already. Also, if you place a {neutrality} tag then you need to start a discussion on the talk page explaining your reasons. Otherwise the tag will be removed.   Will Beback  talk  04:35, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, while your welcome to do whatever you like in your sandbox (within reason), I see you added this source: http://www.wordiq.com/definition/John_Birch_Society. However if you look at the bottom of that page, you'll see that it's copied from Wikipedia. Thus it is a circular reference. WP:CIRCULAR. We won't be able to use it in the article.   Will Beback  talk  05:07, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
