Images[edit]
Hi Terry. I noticed your problems with using images here on Wikipedia. The issue is that Wikipedia only accepts pictures for upload if they have been put into the public domain or released under something like the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-a-like license. Perhaps most importantly, this means that the pictures must be allowed to be used freely for commercial purposes – i.e. The photographer will be credited but they lose the right to claim any financial benefits from the photo's usage. Such is the trade-off when using photos here.
If you agree to release your personal photos in this way, then you can use this form on wikimedia commons so that the image can be used across all language wikipedias. I highly recommend using the creative commons attribution-sharealike license if you wish to do this – although you lose commercial rights, you must always be credited when it is used, and also any other artistic works based on the photo must be released themselves under the same license. If you know of another person who would agree to release a photo under these terms, then they can email the photo submission team, expressing their desire to release that image under the specified terms or license.

All that is visible is their disclaimer saying it can not be used: if you want to use them, get them to add something saying it can be used for Wikipedia under so-and-so license. Hi Terryfinisterre. You changed Alcides junior record in pentathlon. Are you sure, that it is an official junior record of Saint Lucia? I'm sceptical 'cause of the 4.8 m/s wind-assisted long jump. IAAF for example does not ratify wind-assisted competitions over 4.0 m/s as records. If it is a record anyway please don't forget to edit correct date and place. Thank you. Regards. Gehian is a born Saint Lucian, and holds a Saint Lucian passport. She moved to the United States sometime in the last decade where she took up 400 hurdles and was awarded a scholarship, to VA Tech, I believe, although she was unable to complete her scholarship programme.
