Hyderabad[edit]

Mr. Texankudiya, I'm not against Hindi or any other language. Don't behave like as if you know everything than experienced editors. This is an English Wikipedia and not a Hindi Wikipedia. You cannot simply add texts of your languages that too for a developing article like this. I asked you to start a discussion on the talk page, but you failed to do so, which clearly shows your Hindi jingoism. Mind yourself before throwing baseless accusations at others. --Commander (Ping Me) 09:24, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

October 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hyderabad, India. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.  Abhishek  Talk 19:29, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors, as you did on Hyderabad, India. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.  Abhishek  Talk 19:30, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring after a review of the reverts you have made on Hyderabad, India. Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. This is the last time I'm warning you. If you continue, I'll report you to an admin to be blocked. Per consensus of editors, we list only the non-English official language titles in the article. Hindi is not an official language of Hyderabad. Going by your rationale, then a tamil title too has to be included as there is a significant Tamil population in Hyderabad. So if you believe it has to be included, then start a discussion at WT:IND instead of revert warrring.  Abhishek  Talk 12:59, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one day for edit warring, as you did at Hyderabad, India. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Swarm X 16:00, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
