The article Death of Conrad Roy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The page File:Gabby Petito last known image.jpeg has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appeared to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.instagram.com/p/CTA__ISJZYY/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion ReviewBagumba (talk) 11:07, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

All Instagram images are copyrighted.—Bagumba (talk) 11:10, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
@Bagumba:, who owns the copyright to an Instagram photo if it's a publically available photo? Several pictures like this one have been circulating the news media and FBI posters/warnings for days now. Is the article going to be left image-less forever? BiscuitsToTheRescue (talk) 16:12, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
Publicly available doesn't mean that it is free. On Instagram, the poster retains rights to their posts. You marked it as free, incorrectly implying people could reuse it for commercial purposes. See WP:NFCI for non-free usage on WP. Regards. —Bagumba (talk) 16:37, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

New userbox idea

Hi BiscuitsToTheRescue, Thanks for posting your new userbox idea to Wikipedia talk:Userboxes/New Userboxes. You have the basics of creating userboxes down, but so that others can use them, you need to create a separate page/template for each userbox (not just drop the code on a page). For example, you could create this one under your current user page as User:BiscuitsToTheRescue/UBX/Japanese Cars, then place the code on that page. Then others could use it by putting {{User:BiscuitsToTheRescue/UBX/Japanese Cars}} on their page. If you need some help, let me know. –Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 20:28, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Hey Tcr25; thanks for the valuable advice! BiscuitsToTheRescue (talk) 21:30, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
