March 2017[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because "The Online Authority is an unorganized group" - no group accounts are permitted (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. I Was Blocked[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

TheOnlineAuthority (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I was blocked for a "bad username" when my username follows the username policy. I don't understand why Orangemike has blocked me, but it obviously wasn't for a reason that stands with the facts. He could've talked with me on my talk page if he wasnted me to revise anything that may be conflicting. This could've been handled much better.

Decline reason:

See below. Max Semenik (talk) 20:52, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Two things:

  1. Your username does violate the username policy. Since you claim to represent a group, that's not allowed. Further, the use of the word "authority" could be confusing to other editors, as it implies some official status you do not have.
  2. Your contribution history does not show constructive edits. Your behaviour on this talk page after your block reinforces that perception.

If you'd like to be unblocked, you should indicate what you would change your username to and give a specific example of a constructive edit you'd make if unblocked. Include the reliable sources you'd cite for the edit as well. —C.Fred (talk) 17:22, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing[edit]

Please stop all the disruptive editing you are doing on your user talk page. You are already blocked from editing, and just because edit blocking doesn't include your own talk page doesn't mean you can just vandalise it. Dinglebat500 (talk page) (talk) 11:27, 4 May 2017 (UTC) [reply]
