Speedy deletion of Domo-Kun: The Movie[edit]

A tag has been placed on Domo-Kun: The Movie, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ░▒▓Frogger3140▓▒░ (talk) 16:30, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Editing advice[edit]

Please do not add unsourced or original content. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you are going to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. PhilKnight (talk) 19:03, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally while discussion about it is underway, as you did to Spy film. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:42, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:InvasionMoviePoster5.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:InvasionMoviePoster5.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Chat on talk pages[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you continue to use talk pages such as Talk:Scary Movie for inappropriate discussions you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ward3001 (talk) 23:09, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"I thought talk pages were TO talk about the movies": Talk pages are to talk about ways to improve an article on a movie, not for your personal chat of proclaiming that the movie is now on TV. Talk pages are not chat rooms. Ward3001 (talk) 20:36, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The 40-Year-Old Virgin, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Terrillja (talk) 15:12, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles or before discussions about the title have ended, as you did to Spy film, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ckatzchatspy 02:45, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bartnude.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bartnude.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:15, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain ...[edit]

... this edit. There is no Invasion Movie starring Sean Connery, and the link Invasion Movie redirects to the very same disambiguation page that it is on. Explain this or there will be an immediate report of vandalism. 71.1.20.162 (talk) 17:10, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RC Cola[edit]

I have undone your page move. The naming conventions for pages explicitly state that the article's title should be the most common name, not necessarily the "proper" name. The relevant guideline is here. Thanks. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:11, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
