Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Hi, The Ultonian! Thanks for leaving a message on my talk page; I'll be happy to explain why I deleted the Millwrights public house article. Firstly, Wikipedia has a policy called the notability policy. In a nutshell it says that the subject of any article has to be notable, and this has to be verifiable through reliable independent sources. The article did not attempt to explain why Millwrights public house is notable for inclusion in an encyclopedia, so it fell under speedy deletion criteria A7, which allows administrators to delete articles like that immediately. Secondly, Wikipedia is not the place for advertising for your favorite pub. There's plenty of neat bars that I like to go to where I live, but none of them have articles because they're not notable and as such, an article would simply be advertising, which is prohibited. I hope I've answered your question. If you can find reliable third-party sources that are about the Millwrights public house, you can recreate the article, but until then it will likely be deleted. If you'd like to take another crack at it, create the article under your user space at User:The Ultonian/Millwrights public house. When you're done with it, you can ask other editors for feedback and then move it into the main article space. Let me know on my talk page if you have any more questions. Thanks! Watermead Village[edit]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. The reason why Watermead has the right to call itself a village is due to an archaic system. The suburbs of Aylesbury had grown to the extent of the borders of the ancient parish (which is overseen by Aylesbury Town Council). Any new developments on the side of Aylesbury now have to be carried out on land that is under the purview of neighbouring parishes: Watermead was built on land originally under the purview of Bierton with Burcott Parish (the same as Fairford Leys and Hartwell parish). Rather than annexe the new developments into Aylesbury parish the decision was made (probably because it creates community spirit or something) to form individual parish councils for those areas. All parish councils in the country have the right to self declare the types of settlements within their parishes, and both have decided to call their respective places "villages". As far as I'm concerned, they're both housing estates, but that's the way it goes. If you have any questions, just leave a message on my talk page. -- Roleplayer (talk) 00:13, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS I moved and tidied up the Queens Park, Aylesbury article, just so that it looks and fits better into Wikipedia. -- Roleplayer (talk) 00:14, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
