Proposed deletion of Chris Cole (wrestler)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Chris Cole (wrestler), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Doesn't establish notability. Doesn't say what "independent" promtions he's worked for, except one, which isn't itself notable enough to have a wikipedia article.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:47, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Chris cole 2006.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Chris cole 2006.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:08, 24 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 23:08, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Innovative Hybrid Wrestling requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

July 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Victor Vescovo, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 21:55, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I did some further digging and found it in Texas birth records along with other census information through MyHeritage.com. They confirm the date, but are password protected and I don’t know how to share them as sources from there. Thegorp (talk) 22:11, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Due to WP:BLPPRIMARY, you will not be allowed to use records such as those as sources. Elizium23 (talk) 22:15, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I’ll try to extract from the us public index or Texas public index. Hoping I can help with the accuracy of the article Thegorp (talk) 22:28, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Would this citation work?

"Texas Birth Index, 1903-1997," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:V637-T7W : 1 January 2015), Victor Lance Vescovo, 10 Feb 1966; from "Texas Birth Index, 1903-1997," database and images, Ancestry (http://www.ancestry.com : 2005); citing Texas Department of State Health Services.

Thegorp (talk) 22:55, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No; please read WP:BLPPRIMARY. Those are all public records, which are unusable for this BLP. Elizium23 (talk) 00:28, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
