A note about sources[edit]

Sources should be published, reliable sources. As a general rule, this means some form of editorial oversight exists: the editor who reviews a book, the editors who review newspaper stories, the editors of a magazine, the reviewers of academic journals, etc. Blogs and columns are generally not acceptable because of the lack of editorial review. Sites that can be edited by the user—IMDB is a prime example, and geni.com seems to also fall in this category—are not considered reliable. —C.Fred (talk) 17:41, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
