Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Timgrable. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Ben Ben (talk) 20:04, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Sand animation. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Ben Ben (talk) 20:07, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know I moved this into your userspace, here, as it seemed that's where you had intended to place it. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 21:04, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback[edit]

Hello, Timgrable. You have new messages at Giftiger wunsch's talk page.
Message added 21:29, 5 September 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.[reply]

A tag has been placed on Jeff allen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 23:19, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A mention on another Wikipedia article is by no means considered to be reliable, since anyone can put anything on a WP article. Allen does not meet our notability requirements by a substantial margin, and this article appears to do little but promote him, which is not allowed. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 23:48, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:45, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Joe Castillo unprotection[edit]

I wasn't the admin who protected the page, so you would need to ask Cobaltbluetony. However, he seems to be on Wikibreak, so if he doesn't respond in a timely manner you can place a request for unprotection at WP:RPP. ... discospinster talk 17:52, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Grayfell. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Dan Nainan because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. I assume from your name that you are the founder of "The Grable Group", which you recently added a link to. Please be very cautious of editing any article with which you might have a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. This article: Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide may also be helpful. Information icon Hello, Timgrable. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Hipal/Ronz (talk) 19:58, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
