Sarcoprion citation[edit]

Hi, I've been fixing ISBN errors. I noticed one on Sarcoprion, and checked it out; while investigating it I noticed that you added it. There's a Google Books URL fragment that indicates ISBN 0-226-44249-7, which is A Peter Klimley's 2013 Biology of Sharks and Rays, but later in the citation there's an aberrant "1996". Further, when I search that book's Google Books preview for "Sarcoprion", I only find this, which doesn't seem to support the sentence in the article, "Using the compact tooth whorl during hunting, Sarcoprion hunted a large variety of different species, diving at them with high speed and sawing vulnerable areas."

Would you be able to clear up this citation? It looks a bit like you might have meant to cite something else by Klimley. {{Nihiltres|talk|edits}} 16:15, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

False information[edit]

Although this user is already inactive, and I edited most of their problematic edits, but I should warn how this user spread false information. This user edited pages about prehistoric fish, expanded information about its ecology. But problem is none of that are sourced, or not found in reference, just done by their personal speculation. Occithrissops was one of the worst example, this page did't refer original description that is accessible via online, and just added information they speculated. None of size, etymology, classifications are correct, after I edited the page with available information it just became short article. Although I fixed mostly, if someone find problematic speculative edit by this user, please tackle on. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 03:18, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
