Proposed deletion of File:Spiffy Pictures logo.png[edit]

The file File:Spiffy Pictures logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:DECORATIVE use of a non-free logo in David Rudman#Spiffy Pictures which fails WP:NFCC#8. It looks as if this file was originally being used for primary identification purposes in Spiffy Pictures, but it's non-free was never reassessed after that particular article was redirected to the Rudman article per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spiffy Pictures. While using the non-free logo meets all ten WP:NFCCP in the main infobox of a stand-alone article about the company, trying to use it in the body of an article about the company's founder is not the same and typically requires the logo itself be the subject of sourced critical commentary per WP:NFC#CS. There's nothing in that sub-section about the company that requires the reader see this logo so there's no real loss in understanding if the reader doesn't see it.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
