I was attempting to reverse the vandalization of the MGTOW Page. Someone keeps incorrectly and with no evidence branding it a hate movement. Putting this misinformation into the article compromises the objectivity that Wikipedia pledges. SummerPhDv2.0 should be blocked from editing for doing this vandalizations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomzc (talkcontribs) 17:28, May 12, 2019 (UTC)
What a group says about itself is immaterial. Wikipedia articles are based on what independent reliable sources say about a subject. Independent reliable sources directly discussing MGTOW say "21st-century misogyny", "indiscriminate hate towards women", a "male supremacist group...on the borders of the hateful incel community". Wikipedia reports that.
Adding and restoring material from independent reliable sources that you do not like is not "vandalization". "Vandalism" is a deliberate attempt to obstruct or defeat the project's purpose, which is to create a free encyclopedia.
You will not be able to remove well-sourced material by arguing that reliable sources are wrong and you are right. - SummerPhDv2.0 00:59, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert, please read[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Men Going Their Own Way. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 13:18, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also please note that the sanction regime mentioned above covers edits on talk pages. You must follow WP:AGF and WP:CIVIL. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 13:19, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
