It'd help to evaluate your standing to make such claims as "otherwise it will have to be deleted" if you had user and talk pages.
That being said, I'm not totally comfortable with a reference that has a link that requires registration to access, but neither am I comfortable with restricting references to only links with unencumbered access. As I said on the Vibraphone discussion page, there are many references used in Wikipedia that do not have unencumbered access.
Do you have any suggestions for a way to make the reference that satisfies your concerns? I considered "article on vibesworkshop.com", but that seems pretty weak. Suggestions appreciated...

Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
