Density

Forgive me for sounding a bit like a broken record, but I feel like I'm sinking beneath the weight of your expansions.

Last year, I gave you some advice (archived) on your writing style, and I'd like to point you back to it after seeing your Arkansas expansions. I feel like you have some good content, but your style is very dense and jargon-y and results in pages that wind up being far longer than they need to be and are much less enjoyable and accessible reads.

Two of the pages I've brought (or helped bring) to GA in the last year are ones you edited a lot, and I think you might want to look at them for inspiration: KDAF and KFOR-TV. In the case of KDAF, the number of references went up while readable prose dropped by 40 percent. You can add content without making the pages so dense that even the most dedicated reader is condemned to drown in a sea of parentheses and brackets.

I know it's a bit of an ask, but it's one that'll make your writing a lot better in the long run. You have most of the referencing material to improve pages to Good Article status—but not the prose style. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 06:24, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
