Gday Tyler1983,

Just adding links like you have can be problematic, and sometimes that behaviour is seen with spammers. I know that the NGA is not such a case, though we should be mindful about how we do add such links. If you see a series of these links is needed through to the NGA then I would suggest that we should be looking to generate a template that 1) makes it easier, and 2) gives it a uniform approach if possible. If you are unsure of what I am saying or need assistance then please leave a note for me here or on my talk page. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:14, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there

Thank you for your advice. I'm not sure how to make a template, but that does seem like a good idea. Is there a tutorial I can watch? I am new to Wiki!

Thanks

Help:Template is the page, though it probably be worthwhile me setting one up. Let me look to see what is similar and around so that we are not reinventing the wheel for this. — billinghurst sDrewth 09:53, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, done. I have created {{NGATyler}} (follow link for use and documentation) and I have used it at Paul Jenkins. While I know that you have been through and added the links already, it would be great if you could go back and update to the style in the template. To see where you have edited have a look at Special:MyContributions. There are a couple of advantages in this methodology, some simplicity and ability to update styles easily, and the ability to track where it is being used Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:NGATyler. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:02, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for this! I will go back and update the records I have already altered when I get a chance. Your help is most appreciated!
