HI. thanx for wanting 2 clear up the articles about the area...OsirisV (talk) 18:17, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS. The John Freeston article is incredible small and few people know any facts that will make the article BIGGEROsirisV (talk) 18:17, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Erm... ironicly i have just found new facts about him... but now the only evidence of his existence is in a verrrry small sentance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by OsirisV (talkcontribs) 10:55, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well...according to several sources it was built from an endownment (explaining why it is in his name)... another site :genuki states he payed with his own money (endownment) for a "Free School for poor boys"... and as back then it was usualy grammer schools... this is likely freeston... There... info that can be on Schoolpage and if we get more info, the Freeston page.OsirisV (talk) 17:43, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good... but remember to search on other sites aswell, the page Normanton, West Yorkshire has a link o the Normy site. And there used to be a Normy Wiki, but it dissapeared.OsirisV (talk) 13:50, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In my humble opinion, just go for it! If someone doesn't like your edits and reverts them, simply discuss it on the talk page. Who knows? You might come up with an elegant solution to a problem that no one else has thought of! — BQZip01 — talk 00:52, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, If someone gets too pissy, go to WP:ANI. — BQZip01 — talk 00:56, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, click the "watch" tab and the page will be added to your watchlist. — BQZip01 — talk 00:57, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The first point BQZip01 mentions is essentially a summary of WP:BRD - Be bold, revert, discuss. With extra emphasis on "discuss", since that's often the step that people forget about. And before going to ANI, you might want to consider a less drastic form of dispute resolution, such as seeking a 3rd opinion, or filing a request for comment. Sorry, I could have emphasized better: "too pissy". My point was not that this should be your first step due to a conflict, but that there are mechanisms/processes in place for such problems. — BQZip01 — talk 14:44, 8 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.44.121.252 (talk) [reply]

All Saints Church, Normanton[edit]

I would be interested as to the explanation you have for merging the article on the Church with the main Normanton article. Nearly all Anglican Churches have their own separate article and there are links from the article on All Saints Church to many similar churches, all of which have separate entires. I don't intent to revert the merge without having a proper discussion about it first. Also, the photographs of the "community Centre" in Normanton are actually of the All Saints Parish Church Rooms on Snydale Road; the actual Community Centre is off Market Street, next to the swimming pool.Jonobass (talk) 10:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
