Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hello : Sorry for this. This is the first time I made a large correction on wikipedia. What I wanted to do was change the name of the page "post wall waveguide" to "substrate integrated waveguide". Those two names mean exactly the same thing but the second name is much much more common. But the page "substrate integrated waveguide" existed already and was redirecting to "post wall waveguide". Hence a inverted the redirection and take the content of the second to the first one. I've seen you made the modifications for me. Thanks a lot. I guess i don't have to do anything else then ? Thats right, it's all good now and nothing you need to do. In future, if you are not able to move a page because a redirect exists at the target, you need to ask an admin to delete the redirect first in one of these ways: If the move is uncontroversial, you can mark the redirect page with the template {{db-move}}. If it is possible someone might object, then list the move at Wikipedia:Requested moves. SpinningSpark 07:19, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

Microwave device diagrams

Hi VK Vivien, It seems you are interested in microwave technology, and like to draw diagrams. Perhaps you have enough enthusiasm to work on the circulator article? The article badly needs a description of lumped-element ("isoductor junction") circulators (with a diagram). A diagram of a Faraday rotation 4-port circulator would also be nice. I hope you are happy if I tweak the English on some of your edits, and perhaps prune a few words -- sometimes having fewer words improves clarity. catslash (talk) 14:26, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

I made those pictures for my thesis in tikz and it's my pleasure to put it on wikipedia. I will check this article about circulators and see what i can do ;-) I was planning to add first some more content on the isolator page and FMR page. VK Vivien (talk) 15:30, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
